Miglioramento del sistema di accoppiamento meccanico Invece di usare una manica esterna che avvolge il pomello dello stadio-Z, come nel progetto originale, ho migliorato l'accoppiamento meccanico utilizzando direttamente la piccola borchia che sporge dal pomello. Per prima cosa, la ho limata come illustrato per offrire una battuta alla vite #4-40 per assicurare al pomello il Pololu Universal Aluminum Mounting Hub for 5mm Shaft.		Improvement of the mechanical coupling system Instead of using an external sleeve encasing the Z-stage knob, as in the original project, I improved the mechanical coupling by using the small hubcap that protrudes from the knob. As a first step, I filed it as shown in the picture to provide a prop for the #4-40 set screw for securing the Pololu Universal Aluminum Mounting Hub for 5mm Shaft to motor shafts.

Connection between the coupled hubs and the knob hubcap The Polulu hub with the higher diameeter hole is secured to the knob as shown in the picture. To avoid that the stepper unscrews the hubcap instead of turning the knob, the hubcap should be tightened firmly, preferrably with threadlocker.
